Continuing Education

  • Will I receive Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours for attending?

    When you attend this conference you are eligible to earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits. Attendance will be tracked via sign-in sheets distributed during sessions.

    This activity is pending approval from the National Association of Social Workers, the Texas Education Agency and Minnesota Board of School Administrators.

  • How do I receive my CPE certificate?

    Printed CPE Certificates will be available at the registration table at the close of the conference each day.


  • Do you offer single day registration?

    We realize that it is not always possible to be out of your building for two days and are able to offer a 1 day rate of $249. Please email lesliegunn@resilienceimpact.com and we can arrange to invoice you .

  • Is there an option to pay via purchase order or check?

    Yes, to register and pay via purchase order of check, please complete the online form and we will provide an invoice.

  • Where can I access copies of the presentation slides during or after the conference?

    Presentation slides and handouts will be posted on our website at resilienceimpact.com/events.

  • Will you have printed agendas available at the conference?

    A full conference program will be provided at registration.

Materials


Food

  • Will meals be served at the conference?

    Continental breakfast is provided each morning prior to the scheduled start time. There will be morning and afternoon refreshment breaks for full-day sessions, and lunch will be provided.

  • Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

    We provide gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options at each meal. We request our caterer to clearly label items as such. Our full menu for each event is published on the event page. Please contact leslie@resilienceimpact.com if you have specific concerns or requests.


Discounts

  • Do you offer a discounted rate for groups sending multiple people?

    Yes, the group rate for 2019 is $319. To qualify for the group rate you must register five or more attendees from the same school or district, register at the same time and use the coupon code GROUP when registering. We are unable to add the coupon code once you have checked out. Please remember to hit submit and make sure the group discount has been applied before finalizing payment.

  • Do you offer special rates for students?

    Yes, our Student Rate is $249. To qualify this rate you must be currently enrolled at a university or college and use the coupon code when registering. We are unable to add the coupon code STUDENT once you have checked out. Please remember to hit submit and make sure the discount has been applied before finalizing payment.

  • Do you offer a reduced or free entry for volunteers?

    The Trauma-Informed Schools Institute is a small conference and our staff will work hard to ensure a positive experience for you and your team. We don't utilize volunteers as part of our staffing and are not able to offer a reduced rate in exchange for volunteering.


Cancellation

  • What if I am no longer able to attend?

    Conference registration canceled on or before September 1, 2019 is refundable subject to a $50 administrative fee. Registrants canceling after September 1, 2019 will not receive a refund. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual.
